  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. 2. Place the dried chilies on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes, until fragrant. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  3. 3. In a large skillet, toast the almonds, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. 4. In a blender, combine the toasted chilies, chicken broth, water, sugar, vinegar, and olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  5. 5. In the same skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the chili mixture to the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
