How to Get Off One Island in Pokémon FireRed: A Step-by-Step Guide

Hey there, Pokémon trainers! Stuck on One Island in Pokémon FireRed and wondering how to make your escape? You're in the right place! In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you through the steps to get off One Island and continue your epic adventure. So, grab your Pokéballs, and let's dive in! Guys, explore more in Guides And Explainers and how to get off one island fire red.

Understanding One Island

Before we start, let's quickly recap One Island. This beautiful tropical island is home to the One Island Pokémon Gym, led by the formidable Gym Leader, Misty. To challenge Misty and earn your first Gym Badge, you'll need to have at least 8 badges in your collection. But don't worry, we'll guide you through that too!

Getting Ready to Leave One Island

First things first, make sure you've taken care of all the essential tasks on One Island before you leave. This includes:

1. Challenging Misty: Defeat Misty and her water-type Pokémon to earn your first Gym Badge, the Cascade Badge. This will also give you access to HM03 - Surf, which you'll need to navigate the waters around One Island.

2. Exploring the Island: Make sure you've explored every nook and cranny of One Island. You might find hidden items, secret passages, or even rare Pokémon hiding out!

3. Stocking Up: Before you leave, visit the One Island Poké Mart to stock up on supplies like Potions, Repels, and Pokéballs. You never know what challenges you might face on your journey!

Accessing the One Island Dock

Now that you're ready to leave, let's head to the One Island Dock. From the Pokémon Gym, head north until you reach the coast. The dock is located just east of the Gym.

Once you're at the dock, you'll find a Sailor who can take you to the next island, Two Island. However, he has a small condition: he wants you to help him find his lost Gyarados.

Finding the Sailor's Gyarados

To help the Sailor, you'll need to find his Gyarados. Here's a hint: it's hiding out in the One Island Fishing Spot, located just northwest of the Pokémon Gym.

  1. 1. Head to the Fishing Spot and talk to the Fisherman there.
  2. 2. He'll tell you that he caught a Gyarados, but it broke free from his net.
  3. 3. Use HM01 - Cut to clear the nearby bushes and reveal a hidden path leading to the water's edge.
  4. 4. Surf out to the water and keep an eye out for the Gyarados. It should appear nearby.
  5. 5. Once you've found it, use a Pokéball to catch it and return it to the Sailor at the dock.

Finally, Leaving One Island

With the Sailor's Gyarados safely returned, he'll be more than happy to take you to Two Island. Here's how to finally leave One Island:

  1. 1. Talk to the Sailor at the dock and select the option to leave.
  2. 2. He'll take you to Two Island, where you can continue your adventure.

And there you have it, folks! You've officially escaped One Island and are ready to take on the rest of the Pokémon world. We hope this guide helped you on your journey. Happy training!
