Hello there, rock 'n' roll enthusiasts! Today, we've got something truly special for you. We've managed to snag an exclusive interview with none other than the Mick Mars, the legendary guitarist and founding member of the iconic band, Mötley Crüe. So, grab your air guitars and let's dive right in! Guys, explore more in Guides And Explainers and interview with mick mars.

The Early Days: From the Streets to the Stage

Mick Mars, born Robert Alan Deal, grew up in the small town of Terre Haute, Indiana. His journey to rock 'n' roll stardom began in the late 1970s when he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his musical dreams.

Mick Mars: "I came to LA with nothing but my guitar and a dream. I was sleeping in my car, playing in dive bars, just trying to make a name for myself. It was tough, but it built character, you know?"

The Birth of Mötley Crüe

In 1981, Mars formed Mötley Crüe with bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, and vocalist Vince Neil. The band quickly gained a reputation for their wild antics and groundbreaking music.

Interviewer: "Mötley Crüe was known for pushing boundaries, both musically and personally. What do you think was the key to the band's success?"

Mick Mars: "We were just a bunch of misfits who loved to play music. We didn't give a damn about what anyone thought. We wrote songs that were true to us, and I think people respected that. Plus, we put on one hell of a show!"

Shout at the Devil and the Rise to Fame

The band's debut album, "Too Fast for Love", was released in 1981, but it was their second album, "Shout at the Devil", that truly launched them into the stratosphere.

Interviewer: "The title track of 'Shout at the Devil' is still a fan favorite. What inspired that song?"

Mick Mars: laughs "Well, we were young, wild, and full of piss and vinegar. We wanted a song that would get the crowd going crazy. 'Shout at the Devil' was our middle finger to the world, saying 'We don't give a damn what you think, we're gonna play our music and have a good time.'"

The Drummer Drama and Keeping the Band Together

Mötley Crüe was no stranger to drama, with lineup changes, substance abuse, and even a brief split in the '90s. Through it all, Mars remained a constant.

Interviewer: "How did you manage to keep the band together through all the chaos?"

Mick Mars: "We've been through a lot, that's for sure. But at the end of the day, we're brothers. We fight, we make up, but we always come back to the music. That's what keeps us together."

Life After Mötley Crüe

In 2015, Mötley Crüe played their final show, marking the end of their 34-year career. Since then, Mars has been keeping busy with various projects.

Interviewer: "What's next for Mick Mars?"

Mick Mars: "I've got a new solo album in the works. It's a bit different from anything I've done before, but I'm really excited about it. I'm also working on some other projects, but you'll have to wait and see what those are. winks"

As our time with Mick Mars comes to a close, we asked him to share some advice for aspiring musicians.

Mick Mars: "Don't worry about what anyone else thinks. If you believe in your music, that's all that matters. And don't be afraid to take risks. The best things in life happen when you step out of your comfort zone."
